Lepers’ feet are deformed. They cannot wear shoes that are sold at the stores. Damien The Leper Society works with a local shoe maker in Vietnam to make custom shoes for the lepers. Each leper has different foot deformation, and a mold is made with plaster for each foot as part of custom shoe making process.
