A leper, without fingers, struggled but gladly weaved day after days. It took her a month to make a small sash
Most of the lerpers are homeless, and without food and proper sanitation; they have no future. Their pain and suffering has no end. Their feet have been so crippled that they cannot walk, and their hands have been so deformed that they cannot touch or even scratch an itch. They are voiceless; their lives are not much different than if they were dead.
The lepers suffer incredible pain in their body and their joints. However at the extremities, they don’t have a lot of sensation.
Dr. Mai Khanh of Damien The Leper Society and a group of relief workers visited a remote village in Vietnam to provide medical attention, supplies, and educate the lepers.
